How are your lamps packaged?
Each lamp is carefully wrapped in protective tissue, honeycomb paper, paper bubblewrap and surrounded by a large number of cornstarch packing peanuts before being boxed for safe delivery. We use fully tracked and insured couriers to ensure your lamp arrives in perfect condition.
The packing peanuts we have used are 100% biodegradable and made from natural cornstarch. They dissolve in water and can also be composted.
Larger lamps are double boxed for maximum protection.
Are your lamps sold with shades?
All lamps are currently sold without a lampshade.
Handmade pleated lampshades will be coming this Autumn to compliment each individual lamp.
Each lamp will then be available to buy with or without a lampshade.
Please refer to each individual product listing for details.
Where does the name Balt&Co come from?
Balt&Co is a play on the work Cobalt. The blue primary metal oxide used in blue and white pottery for centuries.
